Union Pacific State Recreation Area offers boating, picnicking, fishing and camping on 26 acres of land with a 12-acre lake.
Electric-motor and non-powered boating is permitted at Union Pacific State Recreation Area. There is a gravel boat ramp for access but no dock. Boats are restricted to 5 MPH (no wake).
Union Pacific offers 5 non-pad sites without electricity. The area has modern restrooms.
Anglers will find bluegill, channel catfish, redear sunfish, walleye, yellow perch and smallmouth bass, among other species.
