Located along the scenic banks of the Missouri River, Riverview Marina State Recreation Area features a variety of recreational opportunities, including boating, camping, fishing and picnicking in the peaceful, 47-acre park.
Riverview Marina SRA offers convenient access to the Missouri River. Anglers will find blue catfish, buffalo, common carp, channel catfish, flathead catfish, freshwater drum, goldeye and shovelnose sturgeon in this stretch of the river.
Riverview Marina is popular because it offers boaters access to the Missouri River. All types of boats are welcome. There are two ramps and one dock. Those interested in boating or fishing on the river are encouraged to view the interactive Missouri River Outdoor Recreation Access Guide, which shows public access sites for fishing, hunting, boating, camping and more on the Missouri River. It also serves as a navigation guide.
Riverview is a popular day-use spot that offers 50 picnic tables, 15 grills and one picnic shelter.
Campers at Riverview Marina SRA have a choice of pad sites with electricity or primitive, non-pad sites. The area offers 24 camping pads with 20- and 30-amp electrical hookups, as well as 50 non-pad sites without electricity. The area has modern restroom facilities with showers.
All camping at the park is first-come, first-served. Campers must register their nightly camping fees in a raised, locked box called an Iron Ranger. Self-service envelopes are provided at each station and accept cash or checks only.
Park Pricing
A park entry permit is required to visit state parks and may be purchased at the park, statewide Game and Parks offices and permit vendors, or in advance of your arrival online. View those fees, as well as attraction and amenity pricing.
Reservations
Reservations are accepted for cabins, lodge rooms, and group lodges up to one year in advance of the arrival date. Reservations for camping are accepted up to 180 days in advance of arrival date. The Reservation Call Center hours are Monday-Friday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. (CT) and closed on holidays.
