Phillips Canyon State Recreation Area is located south of Lexington on Highway 283. This peaceful park provides boating access in a scenic canyon setting with opportunities for fishing and outdoor recreation.
All boat types are allowed. A concrete boat ramp, dock and ADA-accessible parking are available.
Phillips Canyon offers crappie, bluegill, channel catfish, flathead catfish, freshwater drum, carp and sauger.
The canyon provides ample opportunities to view wildlife such as birds, deer and more.
