Controlled shooting areas
A Controlled Shooting Area, also known as a CSA, is a private area that is owned or leased by an individual or group for the purpose of hunting pheasant, quail, chukars, Hungarian partridge, and mallards during an extended season. There are a number of restrictions and requirements that must be met in order to become a licensed CSA.
Captive wildlife
A Captive Wildlife Permit is required to retain any wild birds or wild mammals in captivity for personal use or to raise game birds for release and/or sell game birds or mammals. Wild mammals and birds including their eggs may not be taken from the wild, but are to be obtained from those holding appropriate permits.
Science and education
Scientific and Educational Permits are issued by the Game and Parks Commission. A Scientific and Educational Permit (SEP) is required if the scientist or educator desires to take or possess certain wildlife.
