Individuals with limited mobility due to physical impairment or disability can request a permit to operate a motorized transportation device at Nebraska state parks and recreation areas.
MTD vehicles include golf carts, slow-speed utility vehicles, electric personal assistive mobility devices, and more.
Permit options
Obtain a temporary MTD permit on an annual basis by attesting to your need. The permit will be valid for one calendar year.
For longer durations, simply provide your DMV placard information, and your MTD permit can be extended in accordance with the DMV placard expiration. Don’t have a DMV placard? You can attach other state-issued proof of disability.
