Woman shot during hunting incident

Nebraska Game and Parks Commission conservation officers are investigating a Scotts Bluff County hunting incident in which a woman was shot by a firearm.

Jeff Clauson, Game and Parks law enforcement administrator, said the 24-year-old woman was shot by another member of the hunting party and later treated for non-life-threatening injuries in Scottsbluff.

Officers are not releasing the names of those involved in the incident during the investigation.
