Southwestern WMA roads damaged from heavy summer rains

Roads or portions of roads leading to several wildlife management areas in southwestern Nebraska are closed following heavy rains throughout the summer.

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has begun to assess damage at Frenchman, Enders, Swanson, Red Willow, and Medicine Creek WMAs. Damages present risks to human safety as well as the potential for vehicle damage. Assessments regarding vehicle access are ongoing.
