Southwestern WMA roads damaged from heavy May rains

Roads or portions of roads leading to several wildlife management areas in southwestern Nebraska are closed after heavy rains in late May.

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has begun to assess damage at Frenchman, Hayes Center, Enders, Swanson, Red Willow, and Medicine Creek WMAs, where some portions of roads are underwater still.

Repairs will be made as roads dry out. Updates will be issued at OutdoorNebraska.gov.
