Power restored to Sherman Reservoir

Power has been restored to the West Ridge Campground and Thunder Bay fish cleaning station at Sherman Reservoir State Recreation Area.

Recent heavy rains caused severe erosion in the park, washing out the trench housing the main power line and creating a critical hazard that required an emergency response July 14.

By 3 p.m. July 15, Loup Valley Rural Public Power District crews had repaired the damage.
