Learn Dutch oven cooking at Platte River State Park

Learn all about preparing tasty outdoor meals in a Dutch oven at a Becoming an Outdoors-Family workshop May 22 at Platte River State Park.

The event is from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Outdoor Heritage Education Complex. Equipment and supplies will be provided, except for drinks. The fee is $15; children under age 5 are free.

Registration, due by May 18, is open to the first 35 paid participants. To register, visit the calendar event entry at Calendar.OutdoorNebraska.gov.

A park entry permit is required.
