Frenchman WMA temporarily closed due to flooding

Frenchman Wildlife Management Area north of Palisade in Hayes County is temporarily closed due to flooding.

Recent rains have caused flooding on the road leading into the WMA, making it impassable, along with parts of the area. These conditions are dangerous for guests, as well as Nebraska Game and Parks employees.

No one should attempt to access any area of the WMA at this time.
