Flooding closes part of Turpin outdoor archery ranges

Due to the recent excessive rainfall, the roving field archery course and broadhead archery target are closed at Lincoln’s Turpin Outdoor Education Center.

The flooding of the areas has left them unusable, and it may be weeks before they are accessible again.

Turpin’s indoor ranges and the Outdoor American Range, located at 4703 N. 44th St., remain open. Call 402-471-6141 or visit OutdoorNebraska.gov/parks/visit-a-shooting-range/turpincenter/ for more information.
