County road to Marsh Wren WMA closed by flooding

The county road to access Marsh Wren Wildlife Management Area near Elba in Howard County is closed to vehicle access until further notice. The road around the bridge was washed out by flooding.

Flooding also damaged the WMA parking area, which is inaccessible for repairs until the county road is repaired. The county is assessing the flood damage and there is no timeline for when repairs will be completed.
