River Relic Cider release party set for Oct. 14
This papaya hard cider is a nod to the pallid sturgeon in the third collaboration with Glacial Till.
The boat ramp at Indian Cave State Park in Richardson County has reopened following completion of a renovation project. The improvements enhance boating access for recreationalists along the Missouri River.
The project included realigning the two-lane ramp to improve the launch slope and better align it with river flow, helping reduce sediment buildup. Additional improvements included installation of a new dock system and placement of riprap along the shoreline to protect against erosion. Minor parking lot expansion improved maneuverability for vehicles with trailers. Lighting will be installed within the next month to enhance visibility in the ramp and parking areas.
Boaters now can access the renovated facility. Visitors are encouraged to use caution as they familiarize themselves with the new layout and remain mindful of fluctuating water levels on this dynamic river system.
The Indian Cave SP boating access project was funded through a United States Coast Guard grant and Nebraska Game and Parks Commission’s Capital Maintenance Fund.
