On Track Program

Providing accessible all-terrain track chairs for outdoor recreation in Nebraska's state parks.

Providing accessibility to the great outdoors

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is continually working to ensure outdoor recreation opportunities are accessible to people of all abilities. We are seeking funding assistance to purchase track chairs, all-terrain electric-powered chairs, that allow visitors to explore state parks in new ways by accessing areas that may not be suitable for regular wheelchairs.

Track chairs provide people with limited mobility with more ways to hike, hunt, fish, and enjoy the outdoors. The chairs will be available at a variety of events, park programs, mentored hunts, shooting ranges, and other activities across Nebraska.

Our goal

The Commission’s goal is to acquire funds to purchase eight chairs by utilizing donations, grants, and internal funding sources.

Premier sponsorship starts at $16,000 and includes your business or organization logo on the track chair and the trailer that will house the track chairs, as well as recognition on promotional materials.

Additionally, we can collaborate on other ways that your support can grow this program and can work with you to create a custom level of sponsorship depending on your level of investment.
