Don’t miss BOW’s Six-Legged Hike at Schramm Aug. 15

Head outdoors this August with the Becoming an Outdoors-Woman program and learn about spiders during the Six-Legged Hike. Find out more about our six-legged nature neighbors by joining the hike from 10-11:30 a.m. Aug. 15 at the Schramm Education Center near Gretna.

Participants will look for insects in the tallgrass prairie and learn about insect classification, survey techniques, and how insects contribute to Nebraska’s ecosystem.

Cost is $15, and registration is required. Register through the Six-Legged Hike entry at Calendar.OutdoorNebraska.gov.

A Nebraska Vehicle Park Entry Permit is not required to park in the Schramm Education Center parking lot.

The BOW outdoors skills program designed to empower women with the knowledge of outdoor skills.
