For each photo permission release granted, the Photo Library prepares a use agreement, which must be signed and returned by the end user prior to image release. Patrons may not reuse images in a different project without first contacting the Photo Library to expand or renew permissions and signing a separate use form.

Please allow a minimum of ten working days for most digital image orders. Some requests may take additional time, depending on the size and complexity of the order. Contact the Photo Library directly if you have a rush order request and note your deadline in your order submission. The Photo Library makes every attempt to fulfill image requests in a timely manner, in a way that best meets the patron’s needs, but requests from Nebraska Game and Parks Commission employees are satisfied first and foremost, with outside requests completed as time allows.

Final products that include approved digital images released by the Photo Library are often on display into perpetuity within the final, agreed-upon end version of a product (such as within a published book, calendar, video, brochure, website, or social media post). However, all other electronic versions of the images loaned must be completely and wholly removed from all electronic equipment used by the borrower within 90 days. The use of any image granted by the Photo Library is for one-time, non-exclusive reproduction only and can only be extended for further use upon the development of additional or expanded agreements. Neither Nebraska Game and Parks Commission staff nor public patrons may loan, give, or otherwise make available to any other organization or person any image provided by the Photo Library – to do so qualifies as copyright infringement. Patrons who violate this agreement will be fined accordingly.

Users shall furnish the Photo Library with one copy of any tangible product created in which Nebraskaland Magazine images are used, at no expense to the Photo Library, for use tracking. Materials may be sent to the Photo Library, Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, 2200 North 33rd Street, Lincoln, NE 68503.
