Access at Platte River SP to be affected by construction

A construction project will temporarily affect access to parts of Platte River State Park on Sept. 26.

The main road west of the park’s entrance booth will be closed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to accommodate the construction and delivery of a new bathhouse to the park. There will be no access to the marina, campground, playground and select cabins during that period.

Park staff will contact any affected reservations directly.

“We appreciate our guests’ patience and understanding as we work to improve park facilities,” said Michael Townsend, Venture Parks regional superintendent.
