Out of an abundance of caution with the approaching winter storm, Nebraska Game and Parks is rescheduling the big game informational meeting in Holdrege from Jan. 8 to Jan. 16.
The rescheduled meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. Central time at the Cobblestone Inn & Suites, 814 Burlington St.
The first half hour of the big game meeting will be an open house with time to talk with wildlife biologists, conservation officers and staff. Biologists will make a presentation at 7 p.m. and discuss big game harvest results and season structure. They then will take questions from the audience.
The big game information meeting scheduled for Jan. 9 in McCook has not been rescheduled. However, due to the unpredictability of the winter storm, stay tuned to the Nebraska Game and Parks’ website, OutdoorNebraska.gov; their Facebook or X (formerly Twitter); or local news outlets for potential updates.
People who cannot attend a meeting can watch an online big game informational recording on the agency’s YouTube channel after Jan. 9.
