Deer Hunter Survey

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission conducts a survey of Nebraska deer hunters each spring. This survey is designed to gather hunter information about experiences, attitudes and opinions related to the previous deer season.

The public’s input is important to Game and Parks and is another way in which hunters can participate in Nebraska’s deer management program. Hunters are the primary tool used to manage the state’s deer herd. By combining your answers, we’re able to evaluate deer harvest, hunter participation in specific programs, and hunter satisfaction. This helps us with our statewide harvest estimation, which is important to future deer season regulations.

Many hunters provide email addresses when they purchase their permits and have been sent an email invitation to participate in a survey about their experiences.

The window for the 2022 Deer Hunter Survey is now closed. We thank you for your input.
