Wildcat Hills Shooting Sports Complex
The Wildcat Hills Shooting Sports Complex is a family-friendly shooting sports education center with a focus on safety, education and fun located at Wildcat Hills State Recreation Area. The center features archery, small bore, pellet, tomahawk throwing, and shotgun and rifle ranges. It provides educational programming and quality instruction. Equipment rental is available.
Ranges
Small bore range
Seven lanes are available for rimfire rifles and five lanes are available for approved handguns.
Pellet range
There are two five-lane pellet ranges: a standard bull’s-eye target range and a state-of-the-art shooting gallery.
Archery range
This outdoor range has up to 33 lanes out to 60 yards and offers bull’s-eye and 3-D targets.
Shotgun range
This features a trap range and 5-stand sporting clays range.
Rifle range
This 100-yard range can be used for sighting-in a rifle or precision shooting.
Tomahawk
Three targets available for tomahawk throwing.
Small bore range
- $5 per half hour per lane
- $10 per hour per lane
- $8 for gun rental for half hour (includes 20 rounds of ammo and lane fee)
- $3 for 20 extra rounds of ammo
Pellet gun range
- $5 per person for 4 rounds of 12 pellets (firearm and ammunition provided; no outside pellet or air guns allowed)
Rifle range
- $5 per person for per half hour
Shotgun range
- $8 per person for one round of 25 shots (without gun rental)
- $15 per person for one round of 25 shots (with gun and ammo rental)
- $5 for extra ammo (box of 25 shells)
Archery range
- $8 per half hour per lane (includes equipment rental)
- $16 per hour per lane (includes equipment rental)
- $5 per hour per lane (without equipment rental)
- $40 per season pass, youth
- $60 per season pass, adult
Tomahawk throwing
- $3 per person for 15 minutes of throwing
All Ranges Annual Pass:
- $75 – Youth
- $250 – Individual Adult
- $400 – Family (Household)
*All pass pricing is for guests with their own equipment and ammo. Gun rental and ammo will be an additional charge. Passes are subject to availability.
