Nebraska State Fair

The Nebraska Game and Parks is excited to be part of the longstanding tradition of the Nebraska State Fair.

Our Outdoor Encounter exhibit in the Nebraska Building includes a 6,000-gallon aquarium filled with fish found in Nebraska waters, indoor archery and pellet gun ranges, kids’ & family activity packets, a diorama of the Niobrara River Valley and waterfall, as well as information on hunting, fishing and state park areas across the state.

Visitors can enjoy the sky fort just outside of the Nebraska Building. The structure is designed for kids and adults of all ages to climb and have fun. Outside, a meandering stream, covered picnic area, natural playground, sky fort, mock campsite and beautifully landscaped grounds give fair visitors a place to explore and relax.
