Roger G. Sykes Outdoor Heritage Education Complex
Visit this family-friendly shooting sports complex at Platte River State Park.
The Roger G. Sykes Outdoor Heritage Complex is a family-friendly shooting sports complex with a focus on safety and family fun located at Platte River State Park near Louisville.
This center features an archery range with a shooting tower, a 50-yard small bore rifle range, a trap range with 5-stand feature and an indoor 10-meter pellet gun range. The ranges were created with everyone in mind, regardless of size, ability or skill level.
Spring/summer season 2026
Saturday, May 16 (Free Fishing & Park Entry Day): 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
May 23-Aug. 9: Friday-Monday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Fall season 2026
Aug. 15-Sept. 12: Saturday & Sunday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Winter season 2026

Non-scheduled hours
Non-scheduled hours are available for educational programs, group outings and corporate events.
