Rock Creek Station State Recreation Area is a 40-acre campground adjacent to Rock Creek Station State Historical Park. It offers both modern and primitive camping.
Rock Creek State Recreation Area and the adjacent historical park have 6 miles of non-motorized, multi-use trails that wind through beautiful native grasses and wooded areas. Trail goers and nature enthusiasts will enjoy the creeks and historic sites along the way. For horseback riders, a horse staging area and the trailhead is located adjacent to the equestrian campground.
Rock Creek Station SRA offers 38 picnic tables, 38 grills and three picnic shelters.
Rock Creek is a state historical park adjacent to Rock Creek Station SRA, encompassing 350 acres of prairie hilltops, timber-studded creek bottoms, and rugged ravines. Deep ruts, carved by the many wagons that traveled the Oregon and California trails remain plainly visible at this picturesque park. Rich history and beautiful scenery draw visitors from near and far. Attractions include reconstructed historic buildings, living history demonstrations and a visitor center. The Campground at Rock Creek Station State Recreation Area offers 25 camping pads with 30-amp electrical hookups. The campground has a modern shower and restroom building for those who are registered to camp. Water and a dump station are available.
Rock Creek Station State Recreation Area has a primitive horse camping area that includes 20 individual corrals that are set in groups of four, water for horse and rider, picnic tables, grills, primitive camping and a day use area. Riders can access the six miles of trails directly from the equestrian campground. All equestrian primitive camping and corrals are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Rock Creek Station State Recreation Area offers 3 non-pad sites without electricity.
A park entry permit is required and may be purchased at the park, statewide Game and Parks offices and permit vendors or in advance of your arrival online.
Residents $30 for an annual permit, duplicate annual permits are available for $15 and daily permits for $6.
For vehicles not registered and licensed in Nebraska $45 for an annual permit, duplicate annuals permits are available for $22.50 and daily permits for $8.

Reserve a Picnic Shelter: $45 per day, non-electrical
State Historical Park Visitor Center: Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for children under the age of 13. There is no admission for children under 3.
