Long Pine is a 153-acre tract of land straddling Long Pine Creek in north-central Nebraska. The area offers Basic camping, fishing, hiking and an archery range.
Long Pine creek offers some of Nebraska’s best trout fishing.

This map provides detailed information on available species, regulations, public boat ramps, fish cleaning stations and ADA-accessible boat ramps and docks, among other features in reservoirs, lakes, streams and rivers statewide. Lake contour maps are available for some lakes, as well.
Hunting opportunities at Long Pine include deer, rabbit, squirrel and turkey on 160 acres of land.
Long Pine State Recreation Area is home to a one-mile scenic hiking trail.
Long Pine is a popular day use spot and offers 50 picnic tables, 28 grills and five shelters.
An archery range is available in the northern section.
Long Pine offers Basic camping. It has eight camping pads without electricity, as well as 21 non-pad Basic sites without electricity. Camping is all first-come, first-served and stays are limited to 14 consecutive days in a 30 day period.
Camping at Long Pine SRA is all first-come, first-served and campers register their nightly camping fees in a raised, locked box called an Iron Ranger. Self-service envelopes are provided at each Iron Ranger station. Check or cash only. Iron Rangers are generally located near the park entrance or in the campground area. On-site camping informational signs are provided to help guide campers with the self-registration process.
A park entry permit is required and may be purchased at statewide Game and Parks offices and permit vendors or in advance of your arrival online.
