Platte River Art Show

Nationally-recognized artists from around the Midwest will be offering their art for display and sale. A variety of styles and subjects will be included: wildlife, landscape, portraits, still life, Native American, Southwest, Impressionist, and more. Sculpture, wood carving, pottery, and other types of art will be displayed as well.

Spring Muster

Apr. 16-17 @ Fort Hartstuff State Historical Park
Step back in time and see two days in the life of an 1870’s Plains fort played out before your eyes. Watch the blacksmith working the blacksmith shop, laundresses doing laundry, a post surgeon in the hospital and drills on the parade ground, as well as a skirmish on Sunday afternoon. The canons are fired all weekend long.

5th Annual Outdoor Adventure

Here’s a few of the many activities this day holds: a Morel Mile run as well as a 5k, a hayrack ride through the redbud trees, a Dutch oven cooking demonstration with samples, and a beekeeper demonstration. A pancake/sausage breakfast and fish fry at noon will be provided.
