Park Events

There’s no better place to enjoy the changing leaves and fall breezes than a state park! Through November, parks across the state are full of fun, family-friendly events for you and your loved ones to attend, with activities like nature and bird walks, painting, games, live music, and living history reenactments. Take advantage of the cool weather and get outdoors this fall!

2018 Nebraska Youth Smallbore Silhouette Invitational

Pressey Wildlife Management Area

Sept. 29 The longest running organized youth shooting event in Nebraska, this free competition is open to all youth ages 11 and older who have successfully completed Hunter Education and have not yet graduated from high school.

Oct. 1 Get a dose of American history with a presentation by historical reenactors traveling the Missouri River in a replica of Lewis and Clark’s historical white pirogue.
