Nationally and internationally, there is agreement that monarch populations are in steep decline and that action is necessary for their recovery. Current models have identified the need to plant more than a billion milkweed plants and restore or enhance of 7 million acres of land with diverse pollinator friendly plants in the next several years. By registering your pasture, grassland, acreage or garden, you are contributing to Nebraska’s collective efforts.
Register your site if you are managing your site for pollinators, if you have recently restored a grassland that has diverse flowering plants, have recently added milkweed or planted a garden to help monarchs and pollinators.
