Fort Kearny Outdoor Expo

To mitigate the spread of Covid 19, the Nebraska Game & Parks Commission is canceling all group events and programs through May 31, 2020, or until further notice. This includes our NASP events, the Fort Kearny Expo, NOEC events, community fishing events, Schramm Education Center events, wildlife brewery events, hunter education courses, the outdoor discovery program, park events, or any other event that requires a gathering of individuals. Nebraska State Parks and recreation areas remain open for day-use and camping.

The annual Fort Kearny Outdoor Expo showcases the state’s vast number of fun outdoor activities at beautiful Fort Kearny State Recreational Area. This free event is designed to meet the needs of anyone interested in an outdoor lifestyle, regardless of age or experience.

Those who attend can try fishing, archery, kayaking, camping and outdoor cooking, among other activities. They can also see, touch and learn more about Nebraska fish and wildlife species from wildlife biologists.
